DISMUKES SPEAKS ON CARBON CAPTURE AT THE REGIONAL GULF COAST POWER ASSOCIATION MEETINGS IN NEW ORLEANS

ACG’s David Dismukes served as a speaker and moderator on regional carbon capture and storage (“CCS”) opportunities along the Gulf Coast. Dr. Dismukes offered three thoughts on the subject for conference participants focusing on making distinctions between pre- and post- combustion technologies, the load tied to many CCS project candidates, and the current state of projected “transition” investments, including CCS, along the Gulf Coast. Other panelists included Bill Conway, General Counsel for Cleco Holdings, Benjaming Heard, President of Gulf Coast Sequestration, and Bret Estep, the Director of Renewable Energy Advisory Services at Tenaska Power Services Company.
